The exact year the parents and we two kids drove to Monterrey, CA, to visit friends of mom and dad I cannot say. It could have been 1954 or 1955, judging from how young we look in the bottom photograph. The husband was in the service, the Marines, I believe. We would visit them again when they were stationed at El Toro Marine base in the early 60's.

Monterrey, CA, mid-50's
The exact year the parents and we two kids drove to Monterrey, CA, to visit friends of mom and dad I cannot say. It could have been 1954 or 1955, judging from how young we look in the bottom photograph. The husband was in the service, the Marines, I believe.
