About This Blog ~ This blog is about a series of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender (GLBT) super-hero, sci-fi, fantasy adventure novels called Rainbow Arc of Fire. The main characters are imbued with extraordinary abilities. Their exploits are both varied and exciting, from a GLBT and a human perspective. You can follow Greg, Paul, Marina, Joan, William, and Joseph, as well as several others along the way, as they battle extraordinary foes or take on environmental threats all around the globe and even in outer space. You can access synopses of the ten books using the individual links on the upper, left-hand column.

The more recent posts are about events or issues that either are mentioned in one or more books in the series or at least influenced the writing of the series.

Grandma and Grandpa Sanchez, Dad, Me and Ann

I have added these photos here because, while they are grouped in my own photo album for years with the others that were taken on my graduation day, they may not be from my graduation at all but from Ann's a year later. If you compare these two with the earlier one of me and Ann with Grandma and Grandpa, I am likely wearing the same suit--I only owned one suit throughout high school--but nobody else is wearing the same clothing. What's nice about both pictures is that they are in front of our 8940 Cypress Avenue house, and in one you can see the grass between the lines of concrete of the driveway. At this point, mom had a small Instamatic camera that I often borrowed. It used those little one-time flash bulbs. You sometimes had to lick the base of the bulb before inserting it in the flash attachment.
